Dr Michael Jonas has been a rural practitioner for the past 30 years. His role in ADA NSW Council has contributed to the Association’s quantifiable improvements measured against the Strategic Plan. “Committees are an energetic source of ideas, membership and satisfaction levels are up, and service levels are at an all-time high”. An enthusiasm for continued learning has inspired his long term involvement with the Centre for Professional Development. Dr Jonas was actively involved in the recent successful campaign for water fluoridation in Gunnedah, advocating for this important community health measure in public, through the media and directly with Gunnedah Shire Council.
